In the Womb

(National Geographic DVD, 2006)

If you're curious about what conception and embryonic development look like, this documentary offers remarkable images of sperm swimming up the oviducts, cells dividing, fetuses growing and a baby being born. The narration offers a lot of information about the changes that occur during pregnancy, and if you're not pregnant yet this film will inspire you to try out the equipment. Only hospital birth is presented, and the occasional advice is no substitute for in-depth preparation for parenthood, but it's a beautiful film to watch.
